Afterimage Locket 4

 A custom locket made for the most enthusiastic lover of handmade jewelry that I know, A Thousand Facets. She wanted an afterimage engraving under a dendritic agate and selected a stone that to some, resembles a dandelion puff, but to me, brings to mind a Fourth of July sparkler.

The stone is set in an 18k gold bezel and the locket is made of blackened sterling silver. 

9.2ct dendritic agate measures 20 x 24mm or 3/4 x 15/16in. Locket measures 24 x 25mm or 15/16 x 1in.

The locket hangs from a blackened sterling silver cable chain necklace with a handmade sterling silver hook and eye clasp.

Due to its unusual setting, this locket should not be exposed to water, lotion, etc.
