Golden Piece of Turf Dendritic Agate Ring

The Dürer painting Great Piece of Turf celebrates the beauty of an ordinary patch of earth. The golden brown and yellow inclusions on this stone remind me of this way of looking at nature: seeing the marvelous in the minute. It is worthy of an 18k yellow and blackened sterling silver bezel.

The ring is a size 6. It can be resized.

The dendritic agate measures approximately 12 x 18mm or 1/2 x 3/4 inch.
